Personally, I am sick and TIRED of games that do these ridiculously awesome opening scenes into a game.

Well, at least RPGs anyways.

It just irritates me, knowing fully well that my next few acts will involve around me running around killing rabbits or other low level baddies.

So watching this ridiculously awesome looking opening cut scene only pisses me off. As this essentially is like a movie, that has all the awesome stuff at the beginning, that in most cases, you can leave the theatre, and not have missed anything.

These are the sorts of cuts scenes that my greatest desire in handling them, would be simply to skip them. As okay--it is a large scale awesomely epic war... on the tv screen. Putting it on the same level as most really bad action movies like Escape from LA (I was laughing throughout most of it, Escape from LA is a rate nice comedy).

I mean--how about. Rather than show me a scene of awesome--put me into the awesome. Have me in that battle, maybe? I thought this was a video game I was playing here.

I dunno--I will try to get the disc fixed. But we are off on a really bad start.
