Alright, I went with the idea that I had indeed missed something. So I load it up again. Found a new area, swept it. I am now up to 25 Missiles in capacity, one energy tank, roll, roll bombs and charge shot. There does not appear to be anything apparent that I can get to without Super Missiles.
I did however come down a barren stretch of hall to a single cave with water, and what appears to be some sort of large Space Pirate statue. There appears to be nothing of worth in this room.
It would be a lot easier to solve the puzzles if I had some clue on how exactly the mechanics of the technology works. I mean, why does a ball explosion react differently from a missile explosion when dealing with certain rocks. Why is it that certain rocks are more likely to break than others. May yield better results in figuring out whether what I am looking at is worth bombing, missiling or shooting... rather than just guessing when I come up to various structures.
I must look very silly running around, doing stupid things, trying to figure out the physics of a world tat makes no sense to me, but appears to be understandable to so many other people. I mean, I may as well try courting a Car on a date >.>
I mean, I am surprised there is no in game manual, that Samus can just view with information on her various weapons and systems (I a thinking some what akin to that of the UFOpedia from the X-Com series). This would prolly help a lot more in figuring out how to get past certain obstacles, rather than resorting to trying every weapon on it, in hopes that one may work.
It should be noted I am stuck again >.>
Oh and the solution of bombing the map room does not appear to be the solution--in the two (three?) map rooms I have been in, none of the walls or floors appear to be susceptible to any form of explosions (because we all know explosions come in different varieties >.> ).
This was one of the games, I would rarely play, and go onto something else that actually seems to make a little more sense to me.
