Ah! The game that started one of Nintendo's arguably best cash cows they have ever made.

Created towards the end of the N64's "life" (if by "life" you include the definition of a self hating emo kid, who has a large amount of potential, but instead chooses to cut themselves, and generally make themselves look worse than they really are), it really helped add a reason to buy an N64.

Yes, _this_ single game, above all others, which mostly consisted of two LoZ games and Mario Kart 64-was the reason to buy an N64 for many people. I mean--some people included Conker's Bad Fur day in that list (as it was ther very famous Banjo Kazooie 8: now with added toilet humour that Rare was pumping out for Nintendo, once every nine months... it is a good thing they are free to be chained to Microsoft's stove now).

My personal opinion is that this should have been on the Wii VC the month prior to Super Smash Bros Brawl being released. My reasoning being that having the Wii be able to play all three Smash Bros games would dramatically increase sales in Wii units. This of course, would increase to sales in other games for the system. Would have gave the system a rather healthy boost of life.

Anyways--I guess it is all okay to bitch and moan now... as well, we now do have a system capable of playing all three Smash Brothers games.
